LIVE LIFE WHILE YOU CAN

Of late all I have been hearing is a sudden death of people I knew or people who my friends knew most of this people are mostly the same age as me and it got me thinking. In this competitive world of ours, we often need to remind ourselves of what we have accomplished.Often we are bombarded with messages that strongly criticize us,messages and quotes like “think big” and “go for the gold” and everyone expects you to achieve the success right away. Most of the time we are trying to please people and we forget ourselves in the middle of all that.

We forget to live, we forget to love, we forget to appreciate the little things in life. What’s wrong with “thinking big?” actually nothing is really wrong with it. But when you believe that big is better than small that  stretching to the limit is better than taking it easy you’re simply not being fair to yourself. Take one step at a time and soon you’ll reach there. But it only takes you to please don’t do it for other but yourself.

Be their new normal. Not everybody
wants to devote their energy to going
for the gold. Indeed, many of us are more of the simple little things in life. We love colours,we love contrast We love to do a lot of things that have nothing to do with making it
big or being on top. And that’s a good
thing.  Because when the time comes you will have it all:love, success, happiness, faith.

If my post is echoing with you,
it’s time to make a turn in how you
allocate your attention. Begin with
enjoying the little things in life.
And i know you asking yourself why should i??What’s so great about the those little things in life?

They are what we will remember and appreciate when we reflect on days
gone by. The little thing may be a fun evening with friends or family,it maybe the joy of learning something new, it may be the joy of listening to the laughter of your nieces and nephews or kids (for those that are blessed to have them already),it may be the warm feeling you get when you’ve done a simple act of kindness for a friend or a stranger, it may be noticing nature bloom and blossom.

If you neglect to enjoy these little
things, what are you left with?? (Food for though huh)It’s the daily struggles, the disappointments and the disasters that pop on in your life when you least expect.

Lets learn to appreciate that life is made up of moments. We tend to think of life as the passage of days. But in reality life is made up of moments. As you reflect on your day, what moments stand out for you? What moments will your friends and family remember? Is it the stress of trying to do it all? Is it the stuff that didn’t get done? Is it the disappointment in yourself for what you forgot to do or failed to do, or a gloomy feeling about how far you are from the top?

Live, love, conquer

The pressure to get ahead(what ahead means) is just insane. Life is now a perpetual race till we drop dead…..
